The Plasencia Alma del Fuego Concepción is a fiery tribute to the volcanic soils of Ometepe Islandone of Nicaraguas most fertile and enigmatic growing regions. Alma del Fuego, meaning “Soul of Fire,” represents the boldest expression in the Plasencia portfolio, and the Concepción vitola (named after one of Ometepes two active volcanoes) is a Toro that burns with layered intensity and rich complexity.

Expertly handmade in Nicaragua, the Concepción (6″ x 54) is box-pressed for a comfortable mouthfeel and smooth, controlled draw. It features a Nicaraguan wrapper leaf with a deep reddish-brown hue and natural oils, encasing a powerful blend of long-fillers with a high concentration of Ometepe-grown tobaccoaged for seven years to refine its earthy spice. The blend is rounded out with additional tobaccos from Estelí and Jalapa for balance and structure.

Upon ignition, the cigar offers a rush of red pepper, toasted cinnamon, and dark roasted earth. As it warms, deeper flavors of molasses, charred oak, and bittersweet cocoa unfold, with a lingering mineral-rich finish that echoes the terroir of Ometepe. The smoke is dense and creamy, with a perfect balance of spice, sweetness, and umami that evolves through every third.
